Please take a few minutes to inspect the exterior
of your computer, monitor, speakers, and any other peripherals. If you find any
exterior defects such as scratches or dents, please advise the Shuttle XPC
System technical staff immediately at:

Before you begin to connect any peripherals such
as a monitor, speakers, or joystick, it is highly recommended that you connect
a power surge protector/arrester or uninterruptible power supply (UPS) via the
power cord supplied. Make sure you connect the power surge protector/arrester
or UPS to the nearest power outlet.
When turning on the computer for the first time,
only connect the peripherals supplied to you by Shuttle XPC System. Do not
connect any peripherals purchased from any other vendor until after the initial
boot. After the system has powered up for the first time and you have proceeded
to register your information within Windows, you may proceed to connect any
other devices.

Keyboard Connection
Connect your keyboard to the port labeled "keyboard", located on the rear of
the computer. Please note that both the keyboard and the keyboard port on the
computer are color coded PURPLE. Align the pins and insert gently, do not
force! Please note: If you have a USB Keyboard, connect it to the port labeled
"USB".

Mouse Connection
Connect your mouse to the port labeled "mouse", located on the rear of the
computer. Please note that both the mouse and the mouse port on the computer
are color coded GREEN. Align the pins and insert gently, do not force! PLEASE
NOTE: If you have a USB Mouse, connect it to the port labeled "USB".

Monitor Connection
Connect your monitor cable (15-pin male) to your MPEG-2 decoder card (if
applicable) or directly to the video card if no MPEG-2 decoder is present.

Power Connection
Connect the power cord to the power supply and plug into a protected power
source. Make sure your monitor's power cord is connected to a protected power
source.
